To provide a tire of improved high speed durability without covering or only with very restricted covering.
The pneumatic radial tire is provided with: a pair of bead cores 26' arranged in respective bead parts 22' of the tire one by one; a carcass having a cord arranged to extend to the radial direction and a carcass ply 40 forming a pair of turnup ends 44' by bending a periphery of the bead core from the axial direction inner side to the outer side; a rubber tread 12 arranged on the radial direction outer side compared to the carcass; and a belt reinforcing structure equipped with at least a first belt ply 37 and a second belt ply 39 adjacently arranged between the carcass and the tread. The respective turnup ends of the carcass ply extend to the radial outer side so as to be overlapped on at least a part of at least one of the belt plies 37 and 39.
