Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide light tire by using bead wires having the excellent shape holding property, flexibility, bending and abrasion resistance, and fatigue resistance.
CONSTITUTION: A reinforced fiber bundle, of which tensile ratio elastic modulus is more than 25×107cm, is impregnated with thermoplastic resin to form a compound rod, and this compound rod has a diameter at 0.5-5mm and volume percentage of reinforced fiber bundle at 40-80%. A plurality of the rods are twisted or aligned to form bead wire, and this bead wire is used for tire.
