To provide a pneumatic tire 1 adapted to suppress partial wear progress in the final stage of wear while mitigating deterioration of appearance quality.
The pneumatic tire 1 has a tread center section C lying in a region including a tire equator line CL; and a tread shoulder section S lying outside in a tread width direction of the tread center section C. The pneumatic tire 1 includes a circumferential thin groove 110 formed in the tread center section C and extended in a tire circumferential direction; and a plurality of width direction thin grooves 120 formed in the tread shoulder section S and spaced at predetermined intervals in the tire circumferential direction and extended inward in the tread width direction from the circumferential thin groove 110. The width direction thin grooves 120 have an upper end section 121 lying outermost in a tire radial direction, and a bottom section 122 lying inside in the tire radial direction. A width W2' in the tread width direction in the upper end section 121 is narrower than a width W2'' in the tread width direction in the bottom section 122.
