To provide a tire capable of restraining deflected abrasion of a shoulder rib more effectively when a plurality of thin grooves are formed on a buttress part.
This pneumatic tire 1 includes a belt layer 4 provided outside a carcass 2 in a tire radial direction for reinforcing the carcass 2, and a buttress part 10 formed between a tread 6 and a sidewall 14 and continued to a side end of the tread 6. A plurality of thin grooves 20 extending along a tread width direction WTR are formed on the buttress part 10, and the thin grooves 20 are inclined against a tire normal line along the tire radial direction seen from a sidewall face of the pneumatic tire 1, and formed between a straight line extending from a tire radial inner end of the belt layer 4 and orthogonal to a tire equator CL and a surface of the tread 6 on a cross section of the pneumatic tire 1 along the tread width direction WTR and the tire radial direction.
