Abstract:
To provide a tire that can be prevented from failing due to abrasion of a tire side part while suppressing increase in rolling resistance and in weight.SOLUTION: A convex part 110 of a pneumatic tire is constituted of center-side convex piece parts 111 and 112 provided in the maximum width position Wmax of the tire and end-side convex piece parts 113 and 114. The convex part 110 is provided between an end part in a tire width direction of a tread part (a tread part 20) contacting a road surface and a folded-back end 40a of a carcass ply 40, in a tire radial direction. Heights H2 from a surface of a side wall 100a of the end-side convex piece parts 113 and 114 are higher than heights H1 from the surface of the side wall 100a of the center-side convex piece parts 111 and 112.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
