Abstract:
To provide a tire 2 which can achieve enhancement of brake performance without accompanying significant increase in rolling resistance.SOLUTION: A tire 2 comprises a tread 4, a pair of side walls 6, a pair of beads 10 and a carcass 12. The bead 12 comprises a core 30 and an apex 32. Ratio (A/H) of height A of the apex 32 to cross section height H is 5% or more and 15% or less. In meridian cross section of the tire 2 with standard state, profile of side surface S containing maximum width position PW contains two circular arcs which adjoin each other in the maximum width position PW. One circular arc of the two circular arcs which positions inside of the maximum width position PW in a radial direction is a first circular arc and the other circular arc which positions outside of the maximum width position is a second circular arc. And then, ratio (R1/R2) of radius R1 of the first circular arc to radius R2 of the second circular arc is 70% or more and 91% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
