Abstract:
To provide a moisture-retaining type tissue paper which is excellent in softness, smoothness and strength.SOLUTION: A 2 ply tissue paper to which a moisture retaining agent including a polyol is applied is provided that has: a basis weight per 1 ply of 16.0-25.0 g/m; a paper thickness of 2 ply of 145-180 μm; a lateral dry tensile strength of 120-200 cN/25 mm; a longitudinal dry tensile strength of 275-450 cN/25 mm; a lateral wet tensile strength of 60-130 cN/25 mm; difference between the lateral dry tensile strength and lateral wet tensile strength of 40 cN/25 mm or greater; a value (lateral wet tensile strength)/(lateral dry tensile strength) of 0.60-0.75; and a longitudinal elongation degree of 13.0-18.0%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
