Abstract:

To provide a tissue product having a high strength, bulkiness (high specific volume), and preferable touch (softness), and to provide a method of producing the tissue product.

A tissue product has a one-ply sheet or multi-ply sheet. A single sheet has a basis weight of 10 to 40 g/m², the tissue product has a specific volume of 5.5 to 10.0 cm³/g, and the square root of the product of dry machine direction tensile strength DMDT multiplied by dry cross-direction tensile strength DCDT, expressed by (DMDT×DCDT)^1/2(GMT), based on JIS P8113, is 1.6 to 4.0 N/25 mm, TS750 measured by a tissue softness analyzer TSA is 7 to 25 dBV²rms, the maximum peak strength (TS7) in the spectrum including 6,500 Hz is 8 to 20 dBV²rms, and the rigidity (D) has a measured value of 2.3 to 4.5 mm/N.
