Abstract:
To provide tissue-specific and target RNA-specific ribozymes.
The nucleic acid includes a 5' autocatalytically cleaving ribozyme sequence, a catalytic ribozyme including a target RNA-specific linking site, and a target-specific promoter-linking site at the upstream of a sequence encoding the 3' autocatalytically cleaving ribozyme sequence. These nucleic acids can be used for expressing the ribozyme at a selected site. The method for treating a disease by administering the ribozyme is also provided.
