PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of toxic gases by applying the constitution wherein the surface of a titanium interior building material with a pattern and tinted film formed thereon, is coated with a surface treatment agent added with an aromatic agent and a refrigerant.

CONSTITUTION: A screen of wooden grain pattern or the like is printed on the surface of a titanium sheet 1, using an acidproof resist ink 2. Other areas of the titanium sheet 1 is etched with nitric hydrofluoric acid solution. Thereafter, the titanium sheet 1 is immersed in a water solution containing approximately 0.5 to 15wt% of boric hydrofluoric acid or the like, thereby forming a tinted film 3 of dark brown or black color on the surface of the titanium sheet 1. Furthermore, the resist ink 2 is removed for forming the titanium sheet 1 having a pattern of bare and black color, and wax 4 added with 1wt% of hinokitiol is applied to the surface thereof. According to the aforesaid construction, aromatic and cooling feeling can be added to a titanium interior building material.
