Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium material excellent in electric conductivity and corrosion resistance.SOLUTION: A titanium material includes a base material made of pure titanium or a titanium alloy, a titanium oxide film formed on the base material and having a main phase, and a carbon material formed on the titanium oxide film and having electric conductivity. The main phase is a crystal phase corresponding to a maximum peak except peaks corresponding to a α-Ti phase and a β-Ti phase among peaks obtained in thin-film X-ray diffraction analysis of an incident angle of 0.3° for a surface layer of the titanium material or a TiOphase (n is an integer of 1-9). The titanium oxide film has a thickness of 200 nm or less. A region near the surface of the titanium material does not substantially include TiC.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
