Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium tube molding roll excellent in abrasion resistance, wear resistance, peeling resistance and friction coefficient of roll surface.SOLUTION: The titanium tube molding roll includes: a base material having a steel composition containing, by mass%, C:1.00-2.30%, Si: 0.10-0.60%, Mn: 0.20-0.80%, P:0.030% or less, S:0.030% or less, Cr: 4.80-13.00% and the remainder consisting of iron and inevitable impurities; and a CrN film, Cr film, intermediate film and diamond like carbon film (DLC film) formed on the base material. In the DLC film, a ratio I/Iof an absorption intensity Iin a wave number of 1380 cmmeasured by Raman spectroscopy to an absorption intensity Iin a wave number of 1540 cmis 0.5-0.7 in a range of 20% depth in the film thickness from the film surface and is 0.3-0.5 in a range of 20% depth from an interface between the DLC film and the CrN coating film.SELECTED DRAWING: None
