Title:
TITANYLPHTHALOCYANINE COMPOUND AND ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001302940
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a titanylphthalocyanine compound which has a high sensitivity, is excellent in electric charge retention and in stability under repeated use, and can be effectively used for printers, facsimiles, and digital copying machines and to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor prepared by using the same.

This titanylphthalocyanine compound is characterized (1) in that in the light absorption spectrum in the wavelength range of 500-900 nm, the full width at half maximum under vacuum is narrower than that under normal pressure by at least 2 nm or (2) in that the compound emits fluorescent light when irradiated with light having a wavelength of 800 nm and its fluorescent life under vacuum is longer than that under normal pressure.
