Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent frequent occurrence of overcurrent by setting the PWM carrier frequency of a VVVF inverter integer times as high as the inverter output frequency and setting the inverter frequency for switching the pulse mode not equal to even times of an AC input power supply frequency. CONSTITUTION:Speed of an induction motor 1 is detected 2 and the rotational speed (fr) of the motor is operated 3. Thus operated rotational speed (fr) is added 5 to an output (fs) from a slip frequency pattern operating section 4 to produce an inverter frequency fINN which is fed to a pulse mode switching circuit 6. A pulse mode selection circuit 7 in the circuit 6 receives the fINN which is then compared 12-16 with pulse mode switching set frequencies C1-C4 which are not equal to even times of power supply frequency to produce pulse mode selection signals 1PM, 3PM.... The selection signals are fed to a pulse mode output section 17 which then outputs a pulse mode NP to a PWM section 18 and a modulation rate operating section 19. According to the invention, pattern switching is prevented during beating phenomenon and frequent occurrence of overcurrent is prevented.
