Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a photometric value corresponding to the condition of an object by using a video signal obtained from a solid-state electronic image pickup element.
CONSTITUTION: A photometry area to be different at every field in one frame is set in the photographic area of a CCD 4 and under the control of a CPU 3, an integration circuit 16 integrates the luminance signal component of a luminance signal extracted by a YL synthesizing circuit 14 over horizontal and vertical scanning direction periods corresponding to the photometry area. Then, the obtained integrated value is added at every field, and the photometric value is calculated from the added value at every field.
