PURPOSE: To mount a time mechanism accurately and quickly into a case even when loosening takes place in the assembly process of a time piece by providing a projected fitting section at the tip of a support column while a catching section larger in the diameter than the fitting section on the side closer to the root of the column therefrom is provided.

CONSTITUTION: A fitting section 10 and a catching section 12 are provided at one end of a support column 5 and the fitting section 10 is inserted into an inserting hole 14 in a ground plate 4 until the ground plate 4 is caught by the catching section 12 and sticks out properly. A fixing washer is forced into the projected fitting section or the fitting section is forced into the insertion hole to anchor the ground plate into the support temporarily. Thus, a space can be maintained between the ground plate 4 and the catching section 12 on the support column in the assembly process of the time mechanism thereby ensuring the assembly of the time mechanism on the ground plate.
