Title:
SUMMER WOOL-TONED MULTIPLY TEXTURED YARN AND ITS PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0673630
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the subject textured yarn of dry touch, bearing moderate firm texture, especially suitable for summer wear.

CONSTITUTION: The objective textured yarn is the one such that (A) a semi- drawn yarn (base yarn A) ≥5.0 denier in single fiber fineness and a (B) a semi- drawn yarn (base yarn B) ≤3.5 denier in single fiber fineness are mutually multiply false-twisted. There are at least 120 counts/m along the textured yarn, where both the base yarns are mutually wrapped and the base yarn A has sheath-core structure exposed on the surface and the single fibers being stuck to one another, while in the opened portions, the sheath-core structure is broken and both the base yarns being exposed on the surface. The textured yarn of this invention can be obtained by arranging both the base yarns A and B differing in elongation from each other by ≤100% in parallel with each other followed by multiple false-twisting in a frictional way at a draw ratio of 1.26-1.54, heater temperature of 230-250°C, heater passage time of 0.25-0.5sec and ≤0.5 in K-value. A spindle-type false twister may be used. Relaxedly heat- setting process reduces the developing of kinky threads or snarls on the final yarn.
