Abstract:
PURPOSE: To composite video images from many sources in real time. CONSTITUTION: This system consists of 1st and 2nd sensors which respectively has a different characteristic, a circuit which separates signals from each of the sensors into a 1st feature signal and a 1st background signal and a 2nd feature signal and 2nd background signal, a circuit which selects a signal that has the best feature between the 1st and 2nd feature signals and a circuit which composites a selected feature signal with a composite background signal of the 1st and 2nd background signals. Then, the system operates in real time in a high pixel rate with reasonable costs and also through an appropriately complicated hardware.
