PURPOSE: To increase the area of a circuit board, increase the mounting number of circuit parts, and reduce mounting density by arranging edge parts to partially cover end surfaces of a fluorescent lamp on the circuit board.
CONSTITUTION: In this electric bulb type fluorescent lamp device, a partition board 4 is installed on the other end of a cover 1 having a base 3 on one end, and a circuit board 60 mounted with a high frequency lighting circuit part 61 is installed in the cover 1. Lamp installing holes 44 are formed in the partition board, and end parts of a fluorescent lamp 7 are inserted in the lamp installing holes 44, and the end parts of the fluorescent lamp 7 are fixed to the partition board 4. The following means is added to such constitution. Edge parts 62 to partially cover end surfaces 71 of the fluorescent lamp 7 inserted in the lamp installing holes 44 are arranged on the circuit board 60.
