PURPOSE: To trap an unwanted carrier component without causing harmful attenuation in a base band component by laminarily arranging at least a first, a second and a third quartz plates and arranging the second quartz plate between the first and the third quartz plates.
CONSTITUTION: When the ordinary ray o1 of a quartz plate 11 and the extraordinary ray e2 of a quartz plate 12 are separated as the extraordinary ray e3 of a quartz plate 13, the rays o1, e2, e3 are generated on the position aparted by a separated distance P2 in the direction of -45° from the positions of the rays o1, e2, o3. Thus, the rays o1, e2, e3 are generated on the position shifted by 2DH in the H direction from the rays o1, o2, e3. Consequently, when the eight rays are diffused in reference to the position shown in the figure based on the incident ray made incident on the reference position from an object to be image-picked up and transmitted from the quartz plate 13 while having the light quantity of 1/8, a sampling output sent from a solid imaging chip exhibits a traping characteristic for a carrier component other than a base band component both included in the spatial frequency spectrum.
