Abstract:
The invention relates to a controllable pitch propeller (2) with adjusting rods (10) arranged in the propeller hub for adjusting the propeller blades (3) and with a hydraulic cylinder (9) for axially displacing the adjusting rods (10), the hydraulic cylinder (9) being arranged coaxially to and downstream of the propeller hub, in which arrangement its cylinder housing can be detachably connected to the adjusting rods and its piston rod can be detachably connected to the propeller shaft, and the piston rod moved out beyond the cylindrical housing is mounted in a stator (7) which is held on a hull or a control fin of a Z-type drive in such a way as to be locked against rotation and through which pressure-medium lines are passed.
