Abstract:
PURPOSE: To convert a waste styrene resin to styrene monomer in on oil state having a high purity.
CONSTITUTION: Vapor obtained by the thermal decomposition of a waste styrene resin is cooled to a temperature above the boiling point of styrene monomer and below 350°C. The liquefied component having a high boiling point is dropped into the thermal decomposition furnace and exclusively the styrene monomer component is taken out of the system.
