Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a product having stable quality and to improve yield by setting the specification of surface roughness, minimizing the occurrence of cracking at the time of bulging, and reducing the rate of crack defect with respect to a tube stock made of aluminum used at the time of producing, e.g. a main pipe of intake manifold of automobile engine by means of bulging. CONSTITUTION:A tube stock 1 made of aluminum for bulging has a circular cross-sectional form, and the specification of the center line average height of surface roughness (Ra) in a circumferential direction at the external surface is set at 2.0-3.0/mum.
