PURPOSE: To make an automatic vending machine of a personalized card usable from a remote place, by a method wherein after a card synthesized from the outside through a communication line is confirmed, the synthesized card is printed by making use of a printer.

CONSTITUTION: A plurality of kinds of greeting writings accumulated into a main computor 14 are displayed on a monitor 28 of an outside computor 22 through a communication line and the main computor 14 receives selected result of the greeting writings from the outside computor 22 through the communication line. The main computor 14 synthesizes a selected card specimen and the greeting writings and an image data of the card is displayed on the monitor 28 of the outside computor 22 through the communication line. After confirmation of the synthetic card is received from the outside computor 22 through the communication line, the main computor 14 prints the synthetic card by making use of a printer 16.
