PURPOSE: To prevent displacement of sewing position of a suspension cloth by providing an air bag holder to a sewing machine for suspension clothes, inserting an inflater insertion hole opened in the air bag basis sheet into the air bag holder, and keeping a constant distance between the opening center of the insertion hole and the sewing machine needle.
CONSTITUTION: An air bag holder 2 attached to a sewing machine main body 1 has a support 3, a receiving seat 4, and a holder 5 and the support 3 is formed into a column having such a diameter that can be fitted into an inflater insertion hole 7. The receiving seat 4 is a jaw installed in the bottom circumferencial barrel part of the support 3 so as to be drawn therein and drawn out therefrom. When the air bag main body 6 is inserted in the support 3, the receiving seat is drawn in the barrel, and after insertion of the air bag main body 6, it projects out around the barrel circumferencial face so as to prevent its falling. Namely, the receiving seat 4 is so formed that four jaws 12 are radially arranged opposing to the conical face of a conical operant 11 which is supported to move vertically and the jaws 12 are advanced/retreated via the conical face by making the operant 11 vertically shift by the air cylinder 15.
