PURPOSE: To provide a vacuum circuit breaker having a regulating part for wipe quantity of contact which can shorten the time required for the regulating work of the wipe quantity and threading, and precisely regulate the wipe quantity.

CONSTITUTION: A wipe quantity regulating part 1 is, for example, a device using a connecting body 11 and a moving body 12 to a wipe quantity regulating part according to a conventional example. The connecting body 11 has a female screw 111 to be connected to the male screw 421 of a connecting rod 42 formed on one end surface, its outer surface forming a circular guide face 112, and a stopper part 113 having an outer diameter dimension larger than the diameter of the guide face 112 integrally formed on the other end. The depth of the female screw 111 ensures a sufficient margin dimension (L3) to the top end of the male screw 421. The moving body 12 has a circular through-hole 121 to be fitted to the guide face 112 possessed by the connecting body 11 through a clearance, and to its outer surface, a pair of pins 123 rotatably installed to the through hole possessed by the end part 51 of a lever 5 with the central axes being orthogonal to the central axis of the moving body 12 are installed.
