Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light and highly cushioning antistatic shoes sole material which enables releasing of static electricity charged in a human body. SOLUTION: Either an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer with the vinyl acetate content of 10-35 wt.% or 70-95 pt.wt. of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and 5-30 pt.wt. of acrylonitrile butadiene rubber are used to make a blend. 100 pt.wt. of the polymer component thus obtained is mixed with 1-10 pt.wt. of an antistatic agent and a foaming agent and a crosslinking agent, a kneaded material obtained is inserted into a formwork and undergoes heating, foaming and hardening to produce a light and highly cushionable antistatic shoes sole material.
