Abstract:
PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement of both a PV value and wearing resistance, by mixing by specific weight ratio a carbon fiber, stainless steel powder of rugged granular, fiber or scale shape and tetrafluoroethylene resin. CONSTITUTION:A mixture, comprising by weight ratio 4-10% (for instance, 5%) carbon fiber, 5-50% (for instance, 10%) stainless steel powder and the rest (for instance, 85%) of tetrafluoroethylene resin powder, is sufficiently mixed. The stainless steel uses a rugged granular or a scale or fiber shape. Next, the mixture, after it is compressed to be molded, is fired at a temperature of 300 deg.C or more. As an example of the embodiment, the mixture is placed in a furnace, and its temperature is increased to 320 deg.C in about three hours and maintained for an hour. Next, the temperature is increased to 380 deg.C in two hours and held for three hours. This temperature is decreased to 320 deg.C in two hours and held for an hour and then decreased to the normal temperature in three hours. Here the stainless steel, being entangled with the carbon fiber, is held in fluorine contained resin. While a surface of the stainless steel has been oxidized.
