PURPOSE: To make the surface strength of sheet stronger and increase the depth of coloring by a method wherein a transparent surface protective layer is formed on the top surface of a transparent base sheet, while a decorative layer on its under surface.

CONSTITUTION: A surface protective layer 2 is formed on the top surface of a base sheet 1. A decorative sheet 7, which is prepared by forming a decorative layer 3, a transparent colored layer 5 or transparent layer on the under surface of the base sheet 1, is bonded through an adhesive layer 6 with a base material 9. The adhesive layer 6 may well be formed by applying an adhesive on the surface of the base material 9 just before the lamination of the base material, the decorative sheet 7 and the like. Or the adhesive layer may well be formed by applying the adhesive on the lower surface of the decorative sheet 7 and the like just before the lamination. Further, the adhesive layer may well be formed on the under surface of the decorative sheet 7 and the like in advance as the lowermost layer. As the adhesive, a heat-sensitive or pressure-sensitive resin suitable for the stock of the base material is employed properly.
