Title:
【発明の名称】継手のない義足
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3020324
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
The invention relates to a jointless prosthetic foot, having a resilient foot insert (2) provided within the prosthesis body (1) which accepts and transmits the prosthetic stresses and has an upper horizontal side (2a) forming the upper termination of the prosthetic foot and offering a possibility of connection to the prosthesis, and a lower side (2e) which is designed with greater length than the upper side (2a) and, with its free end, projects into the toe region in order to achieve a high degree of elasticity of the front part of the foot in combination with a high energy storage capacity in the event of stressing of the front part of the foot. In order to improve a prosthetic foot having improved properties, it is proposed that the foot insert (2), which is of integral design and permits at least plantar and dorsal flexion and axial compression, have an approximately S-shaped design in the longitudinal section of the foot, the said upper side (2a) forming a generally rigid angular element with a front oblique side (2b) which adjoins it at an obtuse angle, the lower end (4) of which element is adjoined by a central side (2c) resembling a leaf spring which, at its rear end, is connected to the lower side (2e) via an approximately semicircular side connection (2d).
