Title:
OIL-IMPREGNATED BEARING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5854224
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent impregnated lubricating oil from a scattering leak to an external surface, by forming a peripheral surface, except a bearing function, in an oil-impregnated bearing device to oil-impregnationless construction. CONSTITUTION:An oil-impregnated bearing alloy member 14 is formed by a porous oil-imprgnated bearing alloy layer 14a, and a filling processed part 14b, in which a porous part is filled under pressure by drawing work, is formed to the peripheral surface of said oil-impregnated bearing alloy layer. In consequence, lubricating oil, impregnated to the oil-impregnated bearing alloy layer 14a, is prevented from scattering to the outside at the filling processed part to leak only to the internally peripheral surface and display lubricating action necessary for a bearing function of a rotary shaft, thus durability of the bearing function can be increased.
