PURPOSE: To provide a manufacture for a fiber-reinforced plastic tube joint which has a uniform thickness without quality variation.
CONSTITUTION: While a mold 1 for forming a main body is rotated around an axis, a fiber-reinforced plastic material is wound around the outer peripheral surface of the mold 1, thereby to form a main body 3 of the joint. A predetermined position 31 of the main body where a branch pipe 4 is to be connected is made thin. A connecting hole 31a is bored ire the thin part 31. In the meantime, while a mold 2 for forming a branch pipe is rotated, a fiber-reinforced plastic material is wound around the outer peripheral surface of the mold 2, thereby forming the branch pipe 4. One end of the branch pipe 4 is inserted into the connecting hole 31a of the main body 3. A fiber-reinforced plastic material is stuck to the outer peripheral surface of the end of the branch pipe 4 and in the periphery of the connecting hole 31a to bond the branch pipe 4 integrally with the main body 3. Accordingly, it becomes possible to manufacture a fiber-reinforced plastic joint having an even thickness without the quality variation.
