Abstract:
A quick-fit binding requiring no prior adjustment is disclosed. The binding comprises a substantially oblong base plate or base (1) attachable to the snowboard. The base is provided with two plates (3, 4) vertically fastened to the two long sides thereof and provided with two respective channels (6, 7) for receiving and retaining a rod secured to the sole of the footwear. Said rod (10) is held at the bottom of the channels by self-locking cams (8, 9). A lever (12) held in a predetermined position by a spring enables the cams to be moved in order to release the rod (10).
