Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the frequency of occurrence of attraction miss and to suppress the wear of vacuum pads.
CONSTITUTION: This device for conveying optical disks has support arms 2a-2c for holding vacuum pads 1a-1c, an attracting unit 3 to which the support arms 2a-2c have been attached and an exhaust line 4 with a solenoid valve and a vacuum pump (not shown). Springs 5a-5c are fitted between the support arms 2a-2c and the attracting unit 3 and the height of the vacuum pads 1a-1c is adjusted with the springs 5a-5c.
