Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a conjugate short fiber excellent in a property capable of sustaining aromatic effect.
CONSTITUTION: The aromatic conjugate short fiber is a core-sheath type conjugate short fiber containing an olefin based polymer having 0.1-5wt.% essential oil as a core part and a polyester as a sheath part and having, in the core part, necking parts satisfying the following conditions (1) to (2) in the axial direction: (1) Number H of necking part, 3-25/25mm; (2) sectional area ratio S of the necking part, 20-80%; (3) ratio R of the necking part, ≤1.
