PURPOSE: To correct the position and posture of labels at a high speed, by aligning the labels by centering and correcting the rotary position of labels by a position-correcting pin.
CONSTITUTION: Labels 12 are sucked and held by a suction head at a first station S1 of a suction drum 40. Thereafter, the suction drum 40 is turned intermittently by one pitch and the suction head 41 holding a label 12 is positioned at a second station S2. Then, a position-correcting head 85 is lowered and a centering pin 70 is inserted in the center hole of the label 12 to align the label 12. Position-correction pins 71, 72 are opened to rotate the label 12 around the center hole for correction of rotary position. In the fifth station S5, the presence of a label 12 is checked by a label detecting sensor 53 and the signal is transmitted to a controller and after the next one pitch, a pat- pusher 54 is actuated to stick a label 12 on the disk 15a of a spool shaft 15.
