Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a primer peculiar to a Basidomycetes and useful for the AFLPS method and also to enable distinction of the kind and recognition of fusion by using the primer.

CONSTITUTION: A nucleotide primer having a base sequence of GGATCCGTGC GA or CTGCAGGATC CG binds specifically to DNA of a Basidomycetes. This primer can be obtained by inputting the base sequence into a DNA synthesizer 381A of Applied Bioscience Inc., carrying out synthesis and subsequently purifying the synthesized substance.
