Title:
SIDE OPENING DOOR FOR ELEVATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH082858
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To allow a slow door to be closed together with a fast door even though the slow door comes off from a link mechanism, by providing a first and a second engaging members to a hanger for the fast door, and a hanger for the slow door, respectively.

CONSTITUTION: A fast door rail 9 and a slow door rail attached to a header respectively incorporate a fast door hanger 3 and a slow door hanger 3 which are slidably engaged therewith. The fast door hanger 3 and the slow door hanger 4 are provided with a first engaging member 11 and a second engaging member 12, respectively, which are adapted to be engaged with each other when the fast door 1 is closed so that the slow door is always pulled by the fast door 1, and accordingly, is closed. With this arrangement, even though an elevator car starts from a stopping story, the slow door can be always closed, thereby it is possible to ensure a safety for passengers.
