PURPOSE: To provide a specific bamboo active carbon sheet suitable for transporting and preserving so-called perishable foods such as vegetables, fruits, etc., and fresh flowers and to produce corrugated paper boxes.

CONSTITUTION: Bamboo pieces are ground to give bamboo powder, which is heated at about 170-300°C and sprayed with steam at about 100'C to 150°C to give specific bamboo active carbon. The bamboo active carbon is blended with paper pulp fibers in a given ratio and subjected to papermaking process to produce a first specific bamboo active carbon sheet. The first specific bamboo active carbon sheet is used as an inner layer paper or/and a cover sheet or an intermediate layer paper of corrugated paper box to constitute corrugated paper boxes. Further, bamboo active carbon manufactured by a separate method is mixed with the specific bamboo active carbon and subjected to papermaking with paper pulp fibers in a specific ratio to produce a second specific bamboo active carbon sheet, which is used as an inner layer paper, etc.,as the above- mentioned method to constitute corrugated paper boxes.
