Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and versatile cable laying and/or cable removing device capable of providing a prescribed holding force to a cable and being easily carried in/out of a limit opening of a manhole. SOLUTION: This device comprises roller supporting members 3, 4 which keep one end turntable fixed each to a frame member 2, through which a cable C is passed, and have drive rollers 5, 6 to be driven respectively through driving means 7, 8 on the intermediate part on one end side, and the other end coupled to a hook through ropers 9, 10. One end of each rope is fixed to an existing hook in a manhole so that a triangle is formed by the cable, one roller supporting member, and the ropes, and a triangle is formed by the cable, the other roller supporting member, and the ropes.
