Abstract:
PURPOSE:To increase the number of simultaneous connection between data terminals and host computers accommodated in a distributed processing type data exchange by providing plural call controllers. CONSTITUTION:A connection request (call) from an exchanging processor module consisting of M pieces of exchanging processors PRC 1A-1M is transmitted onto a BUS 3, and received by a call controller CCE 2A at the smallest number. The CCE 2A temporarily accumulates it through a bus interface circuit BIF 21 and a local bus LCB 20 in a memory M23. Next, a CPU 22 compares an opposite destination terminal number on an arriving side out of the information read from the M23 with the opposite destination terminal number on the arriving side stored in a local memory LM 25. When they correspond to each other, a counted value at such a time is transmitted to a corresponding PRC as an arriving side PRC number. When they do not correspond, +1 is added to the self-PRC number of the received CCE 2A, and the control is delivered to a next CCE 2B.
