PURPOSE: To obtain a long-lived photoreceptor low in fatigue deterioration, by incorporating a specified aromatic amine compd. and a specified styryl compd. to a carrier transfer layer in a photosensitive layer consisting of a carrier generating layer and this carrier transfer layer.
CONSTITUTION: A long-lived photoreceptor resistant to deterioration of various characteristics is obtained by adding to a charge transfer layer a combination of a compd. having formulaIin which R1WR4 are each alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, or aryl each optionally substd., a pair of R1 and R2, and a pair of R3 and R4 may form each a hetero ring contg. N; R7WR10 are H, halogen, acyl, OH, alkyl or aryl each optionally substd., NH2, or the like; and X is O, S, -(CH=CH)n-, or the like: and a compd. having the formula II in which R1, R2 are optionally substd. alkyl; R3 is phenyl, naphthyl, anthryl, fluorenyl each optionally substd. or heterocyclic; and R4 is H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, or alkylamino.
