PURPOSE: To obtain a flash light emitting device capable of photographing with a proper exposure at the time of executing flash photographing by emitting the light of plural strobes and further miniaturizing the whole of a camera as well.

CONSTITUTION: The flash light emitting device is equipped with at least the first and second strobes 10 and 11, a capacitor MC storing electrical energy for emitting the light of the strobes 10 and 11 and further, a flashmatic control part controlling a diaphragm by the guide numbers and subject distances of the first and second strobes 10 and 11. Then, only one capacitor is used and one or plural strobes timely emit the light. Simultaneously with this, necessary flashmatic control corresponding to each case is independently executed.
