Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a carbonizing apparatus capable of carrying out effective utilization of an pulled root material and reducing volume of wood and readily treating by carbonizing the pulled root material which arises from creating engineering work in large amount while considering safety of living environment. CONSTITUTION: This carbonizing apparatus is equipped with a carbonizing chamber 2 for housing a pulled root wood, a cut wood, etc., and a chimney 3 for releasing smoke generated from the carbonizing chamber 2 to the outside and a throwing port 4 for throwing cut wood is formed in the upper part of the carbonizing chamber 2 and an opening and closing lid 5 is attached to the throwing port 4 and two adjusting plates 21 and 22 for adjusting communication of air to the hermetically sealed carbonized chamber 2 are fitted in the upper and lower directions between the carbonizing chamber 2 and chimney 3. A heat resistant wall 201 packing a heat-insulating material consisting of a fiber is installed on inner wall face of the carbonizing chamber 2 and the heat-resistant wall 201 is attached or detached on or from the inner wall face of the carbonizing chamber 2 by a screw rod (attaching or detaching means).
