Abstract:
PURPOSE:To allow the user to attain automatic dialing to a subscriber higher in priority by providing automatic dialing means identifying whether a card is a talking card or a subscriber card in a card type public telephone set and dialing an opposite telephone number automatically according to the identified dialing priority. CONSTITUTION:A speech section 2 of a magnetic card type telephone set 1 is connected to an exchange 8 of a telephone station. Moreover, a control section 3 is provided with an identification means reading the contents of a magnetic card 5 located to a card unit section 4, and identifying the card whether it is a talking card with a traffic call data written thereon or a subscriber card with a subscriber telephone number written thereon, an identification means identifying a dial priority in pairs with the subscriber telephone number from the subscriber card data obtained by the former identification means and an automatic dial pulse transmission means sending the subscriber telephone number via the dial pulse transmission section of the speech section 2 according to the dial priority automatically. Thus, even a person except the user writing the subscriber telephone number on the subscriber card can make a phone call by on be half of the user.
