PURPOSE: To form a surface protective layer superior in strength and wear resistance and sufficient in thickness on a surface of a decorative sheet by a simple operation process in a decorative laminate formed by bonding the decorative sheet to a substrate, and to enhance a productivity and a design.

CONSTITUTION: In a decorative laminate, a decorative sheet 3 is bonded to a surface of a substrate 1 through an adhesive layer 2, and a transparent synthetic resin sheet as a surface protective layer 5 is laminated and bonded on the surface of the veneer through a transparent adhesive layer 4. The transparent synthetic resin sheet is bonded to the surface of the decorative sheet through an adhesive that is transparent or becomes transparent when curing. Furthermore, on the surface of the surface protective layer, a hard coat resin layer 6 having a surface hardness higher than that of the transparent synthetic resin sheet can be formed.
