PURPOSE: To reduce a pressure loss of air passing through a dust collector, and collect dust of the wide size by constituting the dust collector of an electric type dust collector and a filtration type dust collector in an air cleaner having the dust collector between a blowoff port of an air blower and an evaporator.

CONSTITUTION: A front net 3, a discharge unit 4, a dust collector 5, a nonwoven fabric filter 8 composed of nylon fiber or the like and an evaporator 6 are arranged in order in the air blowing direction inside of an air blowing case 2 in which air is blown by driving force of an air blower 1. Fibrous dirt and dust in air sent into the case 2 by the driving force of the air blower 1 are scavenged by the front net 3, and dust is electrified when dust contained air passing through the front net 3 passes through the discharge unit 4. This electrified dust is attracted to a plate in the dust collector 5 when passing through the dust collector 5. Afterward, the dust having a comparatively large particle diameter passing through the dust collector 5 is scavenged by the nonwoven fabric filter 8.
