Abstract:
PURPOSE:To display characters of more character strings with a small number of input operation steps by specifying the second number of character strings larger than the first number of digits indicating the month or the day of a week in accordance with the input of numeric keys of the first prescribed number of digits and displaying specified character strings. CONSTITUTION:A specifying means 1 specifies the second number of character strings other than figures larger than the first number of digits indicating 'the month or the day of a week' in accordance with the input of numeric keys of the first prescribed number of digits operated in a prescribed order. A display means 2 displays character strings specified by the specifying means 1 as 'the month or the day of a week'. Thus, characters of a relatively larger number of character strings are displayed with a relatively smaller number of input operation steps.
