Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve reliability of mesh of a motor driven pinion with a ring gear by providing a toggle mechanism for holding a stable condition beyond the dead point when a counter weight provided on a pinion carrier moves in the direction of said pinion disengaging from said ring gear. CONSTITUTION:A pin 12 is mounted on an end of a pinion carrier 7 at the counterweight 8 side in turning running wherein a pinion 6 provided on an end of the pinion carrier 7 is meshed with a ring gear 5 to transmit a drive turning force of a drive pinion 4 to the ring gear 5 for the turning running. Also, a lever 13 movably contacting this pin 12 is mounted and a toggle mechanism 15 is provided at an end of a shaft 14 for a fulcrum of the lever 13. This toggle mechanism 15 is constituted from a first lever 15a fixed to the shaft 14, a second lever 15c connected to said lever 15a by a pin 15b and swingable about a fulcrum A1 and a tension spring 15d interconnecting the other end of said lever 15c and the shaft 14.
