Abstract:
The invention relates to a clamping chuck for clamping tools by shrink fit. The inventive clamping chuck is provided with a chuck body (1) that is mounted on the work spindle of a machine tool. A central seat (2) for the shank of a tool (W) to be clamped is formed in said chuck body. A dampening ring chamber (3) that surrounds the seat (2) is provided in the chuck body or is distributed in the chuck body (1) around the seat (2). Said dampening ring chamber is provided with dampening cavities (4) that are off-set from one another.
